Welcome to Reiki by the River

Doug Buckingham is the main practitioner of Reiki by The River. I am a qualified Reiki Master and Teacher in the Usui Method of Natural Healing and is a Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation.

As well as running Reiki by The River, I also hold a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (D.Hyp BSCH), am an accredited spiritual healer with the College of Psychic Studies, and an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Level 2 Practitioner registered with AAMET and the AMT. I am continuing training and professional development in all disciplines. And finally, I am also an Independent Distributor of Forever Living Products (see www.foreverlivingbytheriver.teamflp.com), and work part-time for a mental health charity.

I am formerly a Director of an international shipping company and spent almost twenty years in that industry. Since then I have travelled the world extensively and picked up several rucksacks full of “life experience” but have now settled back in London and is pursuing my passion for complementary therapies, healing and empowering people wherever possible.
